“Who are you, what is this, and why should I subscribe?”
Hello, I’m David Zucker.
I’m a writer, performer, live comedy enthusiast, and process improvement consultant who specializes in growing, mobilizing, and monetizing online audiences.
After my first client, Norwegian clown Viggo Venn, improbably won Britain’s Got Talent (and £250,000) last year – in part because we grew his TikTok from 0 to 600,000 followers in 60 days – I quit my data analyst job at TikTok Inc. to start my own business.
While my initial client base was an international roster of comedians, I have since expanded my scope. I now work with individuals and companies within the entertainment, sports, technology, financial services, and real estate sectors on reaching the right audience with their marketing efforts.
As my book of business has grown, I’ve noticed that most people giving away free advice on digital marketing and organic social media growth are, frankly, full of shit.
So I’ve built this platform to share my perspective, in the hopes of demystifying ~the algorithm~ for anyone with a great product, but no plan in place to market it.
While there may be occasional detours into media literacy, accessibility, or comedy festival guides, you can generally expect data-driven articles like these ones:
Other ventures include producing and performing in the late-night variety show Stamptown, and trying to be funny / interesting for my 50,000 followers across my TikTok and Instagram, where I’ve racked up 100+ million organic views on my videos.
I also happen to have oculocutaneous albinism (OCA2), a rare genetic disorder which renders me legally blind.
In addition to reduced pigment in my skin, hair and eyes, having albinism means I have extreme light sensitivity (photophobia), involuntary eye movement (nystagmus), color blindness, and lack depth perception.
This condition offers me a unique viewpoint on marketing, comedy, and everything in between.
It’s also why there may be a typo or two in every piece, and why I wear the shades:

If this all sounds intriguing, and not too self-involved, I’d love to have you subscribed.
I’ll only reach out when I have something interesting to share, I promise.
