PS everyone who's not david who's reading this... follow david and share his words with people that they could help! (if you want to. i want to. so i am. here. it's what i'm doing. as soon as i stop typing and hit "post.")
I was directed to this post because the metric I am playing around with is a scaled score based on percentages going down the line of views to likes to comments. The thinking is similar: if you have a million views but only 10 likes, something's wrong. And if nobody is commenting, then the post is not engaging. I call it an Arbitrary Score because I don't want to trick anyone into thinking I actually know how social media works. But this post makes me think maybe I'm onto something. I should add shares (I'm only not using them because there are some accounts I can't get those numbers for very easily so I left them out of all calculations).
